"Microplastic Invasion" is an interactive art project designed to highlight the widespread but often unnoticed issue of microplastic pollution. Through the use of digital art and immersive technology, this exhibition takes you on a visual journey inside everyday objects, like an apple, to reveal how deeply microplastics have infiltrated our natural environment and even our bodies. The project combines stunning visualizations, 3D modeling, and holographic displays to make the invisible visible—showcasing the impact of microplastics and encouraging viewers to think about their own environmental footprint. It’s not just an exhibition; it's a call to action, pushing for awareness and changes in how we handle plastic waste.


The Year is 2040.

In a world not too different from our own, humanity has reached a pivotal moment in its relationship with the environment. Decades of industrial progress and consumerism have led to unprecedented levels of pollution. Among the most insidious threats are microplastics, which have infiltrated every corner of the globe—from the deepest oceans to the most remote arctic ice.

The Genesis of the Invasion

The mutations were first observed by Dr. Zeyong, a brilliant biotechnologist known for his work in environmental genomics. While studying the effects of environmental contaminants on urban agriculture, he isolated a series of enzymes in common fruits that had dramatically changed their genetic makeup—triggered by microplastic exposure.

Concerned by his findings, Dr. Zeyong initiated the "Microplastic Invasion" project, an interactive art installation designed to simulate this new reality and educate the public. His goal was to showcase the potential future of food and envirionment if microplastic pollution continued unchecked.

This video tells the story of seaweed going from its normal state to being eroded by microplastics and eventually mutating into a monstrous form. It starts by showing the physical mutation of the seaweed, transitioning from healthy green plants to being covered and twisted into dark, eerie shapes. Then, it dives into the cellular level of the seaweed, demonstrating how the cells begin to deform and lose function due to the accumulation of microplastics.

Discovery in New Eden


In the sprawling metropolis of New Eden, a city renowned for its blend of technology and vibrant nature, scientists made a groundbreaking discovery. Microplastics, long known to be mere pollutants, have begun altering the very essence of organic life. Fruits and vegetables, staples of human diet, are evolving under the influence of these tiny particles, gaining bizarre, often luminescent mutations.
